Butterfly Serenade – DIY Wooden Mechanical Cello Music Box Kit

A wooden cello that plays itself, built piece by piece with your own hands.

Butterfly Serenade is a laser-cut wooden cello with a pair of open butterfly wings rising from its neck. The body is carved with flowers, leaves, stars and a heart, and the cut-out panels let you see the gears working inside. Wind it up and watch the bow glide back and forth across the strings as the melody plays.

Why you'll love it

• Real moving mechanism: wind it up and the gears move the bow back and forth on its own

• Music box inside: a gentle melody plays while the bow moves

• Detailed carved design: butterfly wings, flowers, stars and a heart cut into every layer

• See the gears: open cut-out panels show the mechanism at work

• Easy to make: pre-cut wooden pieces, plus a detailed step-by-step making guide
